My Documents link in explorer is broken

I downloaded the latest IE update (Q824145) on a Win2k
machine SP4. Since then, the "My Documents" and "My
Network Places" links in windows explorer are broken.
Clicking on either link does nothing. Uninstalling the IE
update resolves the problem. Anyone know of a workaround
or fix?
 
There are issues with this update. MS known about it.
A new revised version will be issued.
