My Documents in Windows Explorer

WXP 'Windows Explorer' opens with the full display of 'My Documents' folders
on the left side of the screen. When I go below this list to 'My Computer',
which is also listed on the left side, and open it, I find another documents
folder, prefaced by my name, with a complete and identical list of 'My
Documents'.

Do these two lists show the same sub-folders and files on the right screen
when I open one or the other folder? Or are there actually two sets of each
of my documents?
Thanks.

There's only one set. It's a single folder; you're just looking at two
different routes to get there.

To prove this to yourself, create a test file and save it in My Documents.
You'll see it appear in both places. Now delete it from one place and you'll
see that it's also gone from the other.

Thanks Ken.
