I have also posted this in the terminal services newsgroup
because I don't know who can help, but I really need some
input.

This may not be a terminal services problem exactly,
but....
I moved the target of the 'my documents' folders for all
of my terminal services users to their home folder on our
file server. Everything worked great. BUT I am now in the
process of replacing my file server. When I went to change
the target of 'my documents' for my terminal services
users to the new file server, the option of moving the
target is no longer available. Even when I made the user
an administrator of the terminal server, the option is
still not there. EVEN WHEN I MADE THE USER A DOMAIN
ADMINISTRATOR, the option is not there. What the **** is
going on here? can anyone help?

Anxiously awaiting some words of wisdom.....

Hi gmh,

I am not certain this will help since I know nothing of Terminal Services. However,
for a Windows 2000 standalone a shortcut to "My Documents" made by "normal" methods
does not have the "Target" Option. However, if you place "My Documents" on the
desktop using the following method, it does. Open Folder Options in Control Panel,
click the View tab, and check the Show My Documents on the Desktop check box.
