My DHCP server is leasing the remaining ip addresses

For some reason, our DHCP server is taking ip addresses from the address pool
and reserving them for unique id RAS. As a result, my inhouse users cannot
get an ip address. What can I do?

not sure the problem. but can you limit the RRAS IP pool? or assign
different ip range for the RRAS.

As Bob said, this depends on how you have configured RRAS. If you have
set it to the DHCP option, RRAS will lease a batch of IPs for its own use.
The number it leases depends on the RRAS config and is controlled by a
registry value.

To prevent it from using DHCP, turn off the option and use a static
address pool. If you use the same IP subnet, reserve these values in DHCP.

You can use a different subnet for the remote users. If you do, you will
need to enable IP routing on the RRAS server so that it routes between the
two subnets.
