I suddenly can't use my desktop shortcut icons to go to my favourite sites.
I get an error message "This file does not have a program associated with it
for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options
control panel" The question is - how do I do that? Is there a quick fix?
(This all happened after I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and then uninstalled
it, having changed my mind.)

Hi Peter,

Are they .LNK files or .URL (Internet Shortcut) ?

Internet shortcut.... I solved it by doing a system restore. There's got to
be another way though.
