My contacts folders isn't coming up in address book. I had to re.

I had to reformat c:drive. I thought I had good backup, but didn't. I lost
all changes and activity from last year. In my Contacts, all my subfolders
come up, but when I go to send a new email, I am not able to "get to" my
contacts folders. Only my main contacts group is coming up. What can I do
to transfer the data from my separate contacts folders to enable access when
sending an email?

If you had simply reused your backup data file, everything would have
remained intact.
What did you do instead? Import it?
Can't you just reset your Contact subfolders as email address books in their
properties?
