My Contacts folder no longer shows in the navigation pane. It is still listed
under Tools/E-Mail Accounts/View or Change Existing/Outlook Address Book. How
do I get it to show in the navigation pane again?

What view of the Navigation Pane are you using? The Contacts folder will
show only in the Contacts and Folder List views.

I am in folder view. I get: “The address list could not be displayed. The
Contacts Folder associated with the address list could not be opened. It may
have been moved or deleted ….etc., etc.†The contact list exists - it shows
up as a second Contacts folder if I am in something like a new mail message
and press the To: button. But it is not the default for some reason. I am
somehow missing the pointer that associates the files, and i don't know how
to get it back.
Thanks -
Fran

Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or address
books>Next. Select Outlook Address Book and click Change. COrrect the
invalid folder references there.
