my contacts don't appear in address book

I just converted to a new computer and copied over contacts. The personal
address book shows two contacts folders but there is only one. THe one that
is assoc. w/the address book doesnt have my names in it. When I start a new
email and click "to" it says "The address list could not be displayed. The
contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may
have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information
on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Addressbook, see MS Office
Outlook help.
 
You have left out all the relevant information.
You did not even post your Outlook version let alone how you migrated your
data.
You migrated your data incorrectly and failed to configure your Outlook
Address Book. The problem is easy to fix once you post the relevant
information. We simply cannot read minds.
