HELP! I am not sure what is going on. When I dbl click
my "Internet Explorer" Icon on my desktop it opens up to a
strage page (not internet explorer) and the address looks
like this C:\Program Files\MS-Connect\Portal\portal.html.
When I go to my "tools" menue to change my start page I
cannot get to it. It has that same address and it is not
clickable to change. Whats going on? Is this a virus, can
it be fixed easily?

HELP!

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control
Panel

Look in the right pane for a value called HomePage If it exists, it should
be set to 0 (zero). If not, right click the HomePage value and select
Modify. Set it to 0. If it doesn't exist, right click in a blank area of
the right pane and select New, DWord value and name it HomePage. Leave it
set at 0. Now open up Internet Options, and you should be able to change
your default home page.
