My computer will not download from the internet

I don't know what the problem is,but my computer will not
download anything from the internet. And some of the
files that come with Windows XP including Windows Media
Player and Netmeeting will not run, I don't know what the
problem is, but can someone please help me....!!!!!!
 
You can enable internet downloads through internet
options in control panel. Click on the security tab then
custom level see if downloads is set to enable.
