My Computer vs Windows Explorer?

Essentially yes.. They are produced by the same program (Windows Explorer).
My Computer is just a particular view of Windows Explorer.
 
Thanks. A shortcut I was given to "Windows Explorer" (windows key + E)
actually gave me "My Computer".
 
Windows Key+E opens "My Computer" with the file list/tree on the left; if
you click "My Computer" icon on the desktop it opens but with the "System
Tasks" & "Other Places" menus (that expand/contract).

Otherwise they are much the same, since you can get into every disk drive,
folder etc from both.
