My Computer to Computer - Icons ?

I did a fresh install of Ultimate and am running it on a Sony Vaio. Sont
used some custm icons on My Computer and I went on an unsuccesful hunt to
locate any images or icons for the Sony card reader. I see that Ultimate
will allow the user to assign icons for the different devices - if I
couldonly locate the icons. Any ideas ?

Have you tried using google to search the Internet for icons? There are
many websites that have custom icons that you can download. Some are free
and some are for fee only. Good search criteria is key to getting hits.
Take a look.

Thanks. I found lots. I am also wondering how to extract to image form the
dll files.

Wonderman,

To extract images from the dll files. right click the current icon and
select Properties. Then click on the Update Icon button and navigate to the
image you want and select it and click OK until you are back where you
started.

I am trying to get the icons out of XP ( My Computer icons - save them )
then add them to the removable drives in Computer ( Vista ). I recall the
icon array in XP though and thanks for the reminder.

A lot of icons that aren't designed for Vista don't look good in Vista.

Also, certain Windows icons can't be changed. Windows won't allow it. I
don't know what you're doing exactly, but you need to know this.
