I am using Windows XP. I am not really a computer person
as I am using my PC for sending e-mails and CD-ROM for my
review. 2 days ago I left my PC on. I turned it off when
it was in hibernate mood. After few hours I turned it on
but the windows could not open. The screen message keep
flashing as "Sorry for the inconvenience the windows did
not open successfully. A recent change in hardware or
software may have cause this problem". I tried so many
times still I got the same message. What shall I do?

Try booting to safe mode by pressing F8 when it tells you to while it
reboots. If you can boot to safe mode there's something wrong with a piece
of software that loads during boot. Try uninstalling your video, sound,
modem, and ethernet drivers first and see if it'll reboot properly. If it
still won't reboot properly I recommend doing a system restore to some time
before you turned your computer off.
Let us know how it goes.
