my computer restarts

when i go on my computer some times it restartswith out me making it restart
from the start button. Ihave ran an antispyware and a antivirus scan. What
can i do to make my computer not restart auto. Please Help, and i'm running
Microsoft Windows 2000 ,thanks

Hello . You need to make absolutely sure your computer is clean . Perform
the instructions here:

If your computer is infected , then clean it .
If your computer remains doing that , it must be hardware failure which
causes this . You may wish to contact local IT professional or store and ask
for help .
