my computer remembers my credit card #, how to change this

I'm using Firefox 3.5 mostly, and apparently the autocomplete function has
remembered my credit card #. I'd like to remove this number from the list,
can someone show me how to do this.

In FF go to Help > Help-Contents and put "autocomplete" in the search field.

There's a bunch of stuff (particularly on form-autocomplete) that looks
like it would help.

I"m still in versino 2. There are a lot of things in Tools/options
but I'm not sure if this is there. There are cookies and passwords
though.

Clearing Recent History

This article describes a feature available in Firefox 3.0, Clear Private
Data, which allows you to delete all or part of your saved history.

This feature has been upgraded for Firefox 3.5, and is now called Clear
Recent History. In addition to being able to clear all or part of your saved
history items, you can specify how much of your history is cleared (e.g. the
last hour). To learn about this feature, see Clear Recent History.
