My computer restarts by itself. Every time i play a game or run an app like internet explorer or something it randomly restarts. No errror nothing just boom reboots and everything else seems normal. I've read all the posts here and they all say they get an error, well i don't get one. It just does it!!! i've reformatted. I checked for blaster and sasser before i formatted. I also was told it could be my videocard. Is this a possibilty and please help. I have an ati radeon 7000 64 mb. I got it with my comp about 2 years ago.

Try this; Rt Click My Computer, Properties, Advanced Tab, Startup & recovery
"Settings", Under system failure, uncheck "automatically restart", and
OK...The next time your system randomly reboots, it will give you a blue
screen with an error code.

lol done already. i installed the latest catalyst for my radeon just today and it still did it. lol Anymore suggestions?

When did the problem surface? To track down such issues, it helps to note
any changes that were made in ANY area on your system prior to symptoms
surfacing.(eg: Hardware changes, software installed, programs downloaded,
etc.)...Since it no single program EVERY time, and you have unchecked
"Restart" to see an error message, and you have the latest Video driver,
have you also looked in the event viewer? (Control panel, Perf & maint,
Admin tools, event viewer)...see if there are any errors in application or
system...other than that, I agree with you...hummmmmmmm...

2 weird errors

number one is: "Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error calling routine CoCreateInstance. hr = 0x80040206."

and number 2 is: "The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 8007043C from line 44 of d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error."

thats it that i saw

If you go back into event viewer, and double click on each one of the
errors, one at a time, there is a link to go to, and it usually will have
info regarding each, and possible resolutions. That's all I can see right
now, although I went to www.google.com with each of your listed items, and
you may want to do the same. Sorry i can't be more help.
