My computer makes me hate my life

Hi all, my computer (on Win XP Home) crashed and restarted a couple of times
today, and at the suggestion of the helpful welcome screen I picked the
"Last Known Good Configuration" option. Now it appears my monitor is all
screwed up. The resolution is extremely low and everything is too big on the
screen. When I try to change the settings in the Display control panel, it
says "Your desktop has been reconfigured. Would you like to keep these
settings?" And whether I pick yes or no it just reverts to the way it was
before I changed it. Let alone the fact that I don't know why my computer is
crashing, this is really irritating. Help?

Find out what kind of video card you have and reinstall the driver. You cand usually get the drivers from the web.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your graphics card drivers

Or you could boot into safe mode and try system restore this might sort your
troubles.
 
Reinstalling display driver from manufacturer CD solved the problem. Thanks
much guys/gals!
