my computer is not working!!!!!!!!!!

i'm using a p4 intel 945 gccr sata hdd computer.
recently installed pc tools antivirus.
while playing a video a message showing an virus came on my screen and
i not reading it correctly presssed the remove button.
from then on when i start it i only get the wall paper with out any
icons on it.
no commands are being accepted.
i tried every thing, but it was of no use.
nothing is going right for me!!!!!!!

Try to bring up the task manager via control-alt-delete.

Then try entering the command: explorer.exe

If the desktop does not come back up then it sounds to me like your
explorer.exe might have been infected and deleted by the anti virus.
