my computer icon

I don't know where the "my computer" icon went. How do I get this icon
back on my desktop?

Right click on vacant area of desktop and select "Properties"

Click on the "Desktop" tab

Click on "Customise Desktop" near bottom

Click on "General" tab if not already selected

Look near top and click on the box next to "My Computer" to put a tick
there

Click all the "OK" buttons.

If that does not work then post back.
