'My Computer' Icon has disappeared

the 'My Computer' Icon, has disappeared off my
desktop......how do i get it back....without making it a
shortcut.????

From Start / right click My Computer and click on 'show
on Desktop'.

Hi, right click on your desktop, select the 'Desktop' tab, select 'Customize Desktop. . .' button and select the icons you want on your desktop.
