Hey! I know this might be lame for some of you, but I really don't know much
about computers. Well, here is the question. I had to reinstall Windows XP
Home Edition, I did that fine, now my monitor resolution is stcuk on 640*480
16 bit, whatever that means! but I know I had the monitor resolution smaller
than that, I mean the fonts and everything were smaller and everything fit
better. I tried to load the device driver of the monitor Samsung SyncMaster
763MB, but am not able to do that.

Any help would be appreciated.

Load the appropriate driver for your video card.

It is not monitor drivers that you want.. the monitor can only show what the
video card sends to it.. you should be looking for video card drivers..
unfortunately, you have given zero clue as to what video card you have, so I
can't point you in the right direction..

Try loading the drivers for the Graphics Adapter (Video Card) instead.
If you have no Video card (have onboard video only) try loading the
motherboard drivers.
