My computer automatically connects to the internet when just getting on the computer

My computer always goes on the internet when I start it up. what is a way that I can stop if from doing this?

This is most likely caused by a third party program
trying to connec to the net to start downloading
something. It could be a download manager or just a
download program trying to connect. You can resolve this
behaviour by going into Internet Options in Internet
Explorer:
1.Open Internet Explorer Click tools then Internet
Options.
2.Click on the connections tab and choose "Never dial a
connection"
3. Click apply and then click on ok.

This will most likely resolve your issue.
