My computer and control panel will not allow me access

Please somebody help me. For some reason when I click on
Internet explorer,my computer,control panel,or even the
search wizard that allows one to find whats all on the
computer, it tells me there is a problem with explorer and
that I can send for help to microsoft.com.Of course it is
even more frustrating that I can not get onto the internet
for help so I am basically just stuck with the
problem.This dilemma originate from when I found that my
homepage had been hijacked and I went into the registry.
Please someone out there let me know if there is a
solution for this problem.........

Without knowing exactly what was mangled in the registry, it's difficult to
know the extent of the damage. You need to perform a repair of XP. Go to the
