Basically i have a windows 2000 server serving about 15 clients with
mixed os(2kpro and winxp pro),about a week ago i connected all the
2kpro computers to the domain and everything was working fine. Today
when i tried to connect the xp computers to the domain...it was
"unavailable." I found something else while i was messing with the xp
clients...the 2kpro computers cannot log onto the domain with any user
that has not already been logged on. I dont know how long AD has been
down but i have tried many things and none seem to be helping... any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Its a little more complicated than i explaned in my previos post, i am
in a networking class our school has the main network and we have a
line off the main hub giving us internet access,so our dns points to a
dns server somewhere on the "main" network...
