My CEO needs help organizing contacts

Can you give me any simple suggestions for an executive who is trying
to become more computer literate with regard to his contacts? This
just became an issue since we got him a Samsung Blackjack smartphone
running Windows Mobile 5.

I appreciate any/all ideas you may have.

First thing to do is to find out what changed that now makes him feel disorganized.
 
Some of his contacts show up with name as First Last, while others in
the same view show Last, First. It appears to be the way his
assistant has entered them and she needs to go back and edit them for
consistency.

After that has been done, he wants to have the names show up as Last,
First when he is looking for someone's contact information, but when
sending an email the name should display as First Last.
