Hello all,

I could really use some help. One of my users, our CEO
actually is unable to log on to our network. He is from a
remote site, with other users who do not have the problem
he is having. He needs to access the internet, with a
secure password, that noone knows, not even us in IT. He
needs to be able to change it. I set him to change
password at next logon (our network passwords and internet
passwords are the same). When he logs on, and inputs his
old password, he gets "Incorrect Parameter" as an error.
Apparently this has been the case for quite some time.
Once he gets this error he just cancels out of it. I have
never seen that and am unsure what it deals with. He is
set to logon on to the correct domain, and even though he
doesn't log on to the domain because of this error, he can
still check email, access our Unix database and get on the
internet if I manually change his password. But he may
very well kill me if he cant change his password himself.
To do that he needs to be able to log on. Please help!!!
What is "Incorrect Parameter"??

How is the remote site connected to your network?
What do you see in his event logs?
