My CD's are showing blanks...

I recently put in a CD that I had burned some family pictures on and now I
cannot open it, when I do it says that it is a blank disc ready to burn files
onto. Does this sound familiar to anyone, is there anything I can do? if you
might know anything please contact me at (e-mail address removed). Thank
you very much.

It sounds like you didn't actually go through the burning process but rather
just told it to burn them.
