I was surprised when I found the CD driver icon disapeared from "My PC" folder. Then I insert a CD in the driver and, as I expected, the driver did read the CD, but the computer didn't seem to recognise the driver. I get into the Device Administrator and I found that the Drive was there, but with an exclamation sig. I open the properties and it told me Windows loaded correctly the driver but it could not find the hardware. What does this menas? How can I solve it? If someone know, I will be quite grateful if you answer. Thank you very much

Check the ribbon cable attached to the drive.
With the computer shut off and your hand touching the case AT ALL TIMES so
you don't get a shock and burn a board out disconnect and reconnect the
ribbon cable (the wide and flat cable) attached to the drive and where it
attaches to the Mobo.
Also make sure the power connecter is firmly plugged into the drive.
