my cd drive will only play mp3's and will not play c,d's

im going mad iv been trying to fix this for days.H

i can only play mp3's on my cd drive, it wont play games
or normal audio discs.i have a toshiba satellite 2410,
windows xp home edition. im in need of help

Try reinstalling your sound card driver or updating it.
