My computer says that there is no connection being made
between the PC and the camera. Although, I know it
correctly plugged in and everything. And the software is
installed correctly also. My camera is a Canon ZR45mc. Any
help please. thanks.

How do you find all these things, to answer questions like this? I have
Canon products have gotten their newsletters and have never seen this site?

You haven't found the site because you haven't looked for
it, you moron. Did you think the URLs would appear to you
in a dream? Ever heard of Google?

Are you trying to download pictures from you SD card or are you trying to transfer video to the PC

For picture transfer there should be a seperate switch on the camera, check instruction manual.

For video transfer you need to connect the firewire cord (Requires your computer to have firewire card installed)
Power down the computer, connect firewire cord, turn on camera (Play Mode) and then power up the computer.
Now open up the software.
to disconnect 1 st turn off computer, turn off camera and disconnect firewire cord.
Hope this helps
