My Calendar is a subfolder of Deleted Items now!

I am using Outlook 2000 from Office 2000 Professional and I don't know how
this has happened, but my calendar now appears under Deleted Items. It is not
a copy, because if I R/C the calendar I do not have the option to move or
delete it. Somehow though, it is under my Deleted Items.

I tried moving the calendar on other computers and I get the error that
Special folders canot be moved.

Does anyone have any suggestions before I reinstall Outlook?

Thanks in advance,

Pelton

folderscannot be moved.

Try starting Outlook once with the /resetfolders command switch.

Thanks Brian,

What are the reprecussions if you run the command twice? The first time I
ran it nothing happned it seemed, so next I used the option to "Exit and log
off" from Outlook, then ran the command and it created a new Calendar folder.
I was then able to move the original calendar from under Deleted Items.

My next qustion would be how can I get all of the appointments from the
original calendar to the new calendar?

Thanks again,

Pelton

I don't know of any repercussions.

Open the original, change the view to a table view like By Category, select
all the items with CTRL-A, then click and drag the selection to the proper
folder, or click Edit>Copy (or Move) to Folder.

Never export or import when moving data from Outlook to Outlook.

See Brian I had a feeling you were going to say that. Do you have another
idea of how to get the data into the new Calendar without recreating all of
the meetings again?
