Is there any freeware out there which will do the following ?

I have a digital camera which i use quite a lot. I keep the pics on my Hard
drive then put them (copy them, not cut & paste), to a DLA formatted CDRW.
That way, if my HD crashes, i don't lose the pics, and if the CDRW gets
corrupted, then the pics are still on my HD.

The problem is, i'm not always sure how up-to-date the CDRW is and so i find
myself completely overwriting the contents to match the pics on my HD each
time i use my camera. Rather than manually seeing what is on my HD that is
not already on the CDRW and copying them and putting them on the CDRW. That
would be too time consuming.

So, is there any software out there which would check the CDRW contents,
then check a user-defined folder on my HD and copy anything extra which is
not already on my CDRW, onto the CDRW (but keeping the original CDRW files.
Kind of a 'my briefcase' as it was on Win98)

I have WinXP Pro.

Hope i have explained this ok.

Cheers
