My audio isnt workin i need help pronto!!! PLZ

Hey um i dunno my audio stopped workin its like the hardware aint there or
the driver aint there. Can i get some help i tried downloadin the driver but
when i put it to install it says it dont pick up the harware how cna i even
check wat sound card I have so i can get it workin and install the driver?
PLZ HELPP
