When I enter a http in my address bar it automatically
says that the page is not available. if I have it linked
in my favorites it loads fine. Also if I search using the
search button it works fine. My internet options are set
to search from thye bar but it won't. I have tried
reinstalling IE but it doesn't help. Thanks

Kevin

I am haveing a similar problem. I type in a valid web
address, but it always opens Yahoo instead. If the page
is saved in my favorites, it opens without a problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Kevin,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
