Hello PapaJohn, et al, Greetings!
I've completed a movie project and saved in DV-AVI over 10GB size in one 60 minute MiniDV tape and also saved in my hard drive. To
burn DVD from my DVD-RW I can use DV-AVI in my hard drive or I can also use the tape to record to my DVD Recorder and choose
1-hour of recording for optimum quality video.
My questions are:
1. Will it fit into a 4.7GB DVD-R? And also true in both method of burning?
2. Why is that in DVD Recorder we can choose 1hr, 2hrs, 4hrs, & even 6hrs of recording quality and not possible in DVD-RW method?
3. How I could record directly to DVD Recorder by using my hard drive DV-AVI files? Both PC & DVD Recorder has IEEE-1394 in/out
port BUT MM2 has no #6 choices to select "DVD Recorder" out.
I'm positively sure BUT never try yet for No. 1 on my DVD Recorder because I'm waiting for a better solution to my last problem in
earlier posts of; How I could write long Credits names at the end of movie and using Scrolling Up Animation? I've tried using 4
Credits clips by joining them but the joints has short blank video portion (I even tried lapping joints) ---consider lousy in
scrolling animation and I've to type a period [ . ] at the beginning of 2nd and up to last Credits clips because without the
period there --- all my names were deleted in the first & top entries when I go back to make edit. Could it be a bug?
Again, I really need your kind help, TIA.

You can put about an hour of good quality video on a DVD..... so maybe
you're aligned.
The suggestions to save as DV-AVI is for those heading toward DVDs also, not
just those going back to tape.
