MX610 problem

I have a Logitech MX610 cordless mouse and computer registers
single-click as double-click very often. I'm quite sure that something
is wrong with my MX610 because I connected another mouse to my desktop
computer and everything worked just fine.

Wouldnt it still be under warranty ?
