trying to configure mx records. A select few people can

kicked back that says,

If I change the mx record to www.dfd.org the error will
change accordingly.

Can you provide a quick sample, maybe even a screen shot,
of what a good dns, mx record, in MMC not text should look
like.

Thanks Roland
I have read these articles and they gave me a few ideas
but I need a good screen shot of an MMC DNS. that would
tell me a lot.

Any ideas, i have looked in many books and none have a
good screen shot. A pictures speaks a 1000 words.

:)

If I could just get one site set up right I will be good
forever on this issue.

Hi Chris...

This is something that might be helpful to have:

Sounds like your Exchange server has been compromised and is being used as a relay
server. Suggest you call for phone support from Exchange.

You've published the location of your SMTP Relay service in the public DNS
database. Now you need to instruct your SMTP Relay server to accept mail
addressed to mailboxes in the appropriate domains and create local parts in
those domains.

This is not a DNS problem.

The MTS sending that delivery status message isn't doing SMTP Pipelining
properly, by the way. It has associated the wrong error response with the
mailbox name.
