How did you create the MX record? Maybe the MX record was mistakenly created
as a CNAME and the system will only take one CNAME. If so, I am surprised
the system is not telling you it's an incompatible record, unless when it
replicates, the other DNS server sees it as an incompatible type record.
Remember, the when creating an MX record, you always leave the host name box
<blank>. If inadvertenly miscreated, then that may be the reason why it's
disappearing.
