You people are amazing. Where in the world do you find the time to do all of
this help? I try to answer questions if I think I can give a competent
answer, but you people answer tons of questions every single day, and you
have been doing this forever. I was getting help from you 2 years ago (and
continue to) and you are still doing this on a major scale. We definitely
appreciate this, but since each of you has a practice to run, how do you do
this?

Hi,

That is definitively a wonderful tool by which I learn a lot. In that, I followed Ken Getz' advice,
and he claimed himself to have learn a lot in these newsgroups. Personally I learned not only in
the technique, but also in what people do with Access. Sometimes, a problem is the foundation of a
new great way to use Access, a way I would have not necessary thought myself. "Fascinating".

I agree with John. We enjoy assisting and get our "fix" from answering or
trying to answer questions. We also learn lots about how to deal with our
own clients and their needs by reading postings.

Well, it is a matter of addiction. I like helping people, so I usually make
some time to do so. If I am really busy at work, I can't do this. However, I
can usually squeeze in time at home.

Also, I pick up ideas and solutions when I am checking the groups. This allows
me to justify some of the time I put in as research and learning.

The reward is getting a thank you back from the original poster.

An hour a day, first thing, is a really great mental jump start.
So, it good for me, and good for you. Win-win. :D
