I need screenshots of those screens that appear while vista is being
installed. I am to give a presentation wherein some awe-inspiring photos of
vista would be included. Can anyone help?
Thanks

How can I install Windows Vista?

Why you would want someone else to do you research/work for you is a
telling fact about you as a person.

Just FYI, I Would Want Someone To Do My Homework. Just FYI. Since I Can't
Go To School It Really Doesn't Matter. Just FYI

The only way you can easily do this is to use a system with dual monitors,
with an add-on like UltraMon, and using Virtual PC. UltraMon will let you
easily control which screen is used for the Virtual PC. You can then install
Vista in the Virtual PC and take the screenshots on the Host system during
the install. For saving the screenshots, there are many free utilities that
will save multiple screenshots or you can use the Print Screen key and use
Paint to paste, crop and save the screenshots.

UltraMon is cheap, for what it does and Virtual PC is free from Microsoft.

Virtual PC:

Realtime Soft UltraMon:

Ask if you need more details.

I think that research is what the OP is doing?

Personal attacks and ridicule is not a proper response.

I've not installed Vista in a Virtual PC (but have other done with earlier
versions of Windows), so is there something specific about Vista that you
would need dual monitors for this arrangement? I would have thought that
Virtual PC alone on a single monitor system would be adequate to allow
screenshots to be taken during the install. (Just curious.)

Hi Brian

Sure, you can do this. But if you want really high quality screenshots, you
need to be running the client in full screen mode and not just a window. I
also had problems when pasting the screenshots and losing focus on the
client window. With dual monitors, you can keep the focus on the Host and
just leisurely take and paste the screenshots.

Of course, the coolest thing about dual monitors with VPC is being able to
have both the client and host, running side by side on separate monitors.
