As a relatively new user of this wonderful asset [newsgroup] to new and not
so proficeint computer users, I have to thank all of you for your unselfish
assistance.
This newsgroup is without a doubt the best help I have encountered, and for
the most part, you all offer your assistance in a way that does not make us
feel like idiots.
Until yesterday.
Inernet Explorer Turns Off, 8/28/04/ @ 6:29 P.M. was answered by "pissed
off".
Having scrolled through numerous queries and answers within this newsgroup I
know that this individual is not the norm.
If his/her answer in any way embarrassed any of you "computer samaritans" I
would hope that you realize that those of us requiring help can totally
discount him/her.
Again, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and experience.

What version of XP you running? Pro or Home ?Click start, then run, type
in winver and hit enter.
Are you current with all the updates ?
Have you installed Win XP sp2 ?
What is the maker of your board and CPU ?
Have run any programs or installed any new programs lately
