Buddy,

This is a quote from a page at microsoft.com I can not provide more
detailed information than this so perhaps an MVP can help reply to any
specific questions you may have about MVP.

"Microsoft MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) are the most active
experts in technical communities recognized by Microsoft for their past
quality participation, demonstrated practical expertise and passion for
technology. While Microsoft MVPs come from a wide range of
backgrounds and professions, all share a willingness to give their time,
expertise, and advice to enhance the technical skills of others. For more
information on the MVP program and how you can become an MVP,
see http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/."

Hope this helps,

//Andreas

Bob,

I must say this is the best reply I have yet to see to an MVP
question, without a doubt ;)

How do you become a MVP?

Hi Buddy,

Something the others haven't specifically mentioned - MVP is an award, not
like a certification that anyone can study for and take exams. Also, the MVP
award is given on a yearly basis for peer-to-peer support in the year
before, and if someone's online activity lessens then they might not be
awarded again the next year.

Hi Buddy,

Does the community's reply make sense to you? Do you still have any concern?

Please feel free to feedback. Thanks

Best regards,
Jeffrey Tan
