MVP 2004

I was wondering if anyone could help me get my controller working with this
game......I have a saitek P2500, it's the right type of controller but
officially the game does not support this controller. I have tried setting
it up within the game, but no go. Anyone know if it's possible to get this
controller to work with this game?
I;m running XP Pro SP2, 700 MHz Celeron, 320 RAM, 64 MB Geforce 2 MX400, SB
Live sound card.

Bill, here is a link to the Saitek Web site and how to fix your problem.
Just a few clicks from your mouse would have found this.

MVP Baseball 2004
Owners of the P2500 and P3000 pads will find that their controller will not
work in this game due to the fact that the game only supports a few game
controllers. However, browse to the MVP 2004 directory in the My Documents
folder on your computer and you will find a file called controller.cfg.
Delete it and then replace it with this one for the P2500 or this one for
the P3000 (right click the link, choose Save As... in the list of options
and then save it to the MVP2004 directory in My Documents) and the pad
should then work fine.

Sometimes manufactures build in such updates into their game patches:

If you contact EA they might have an unlisted patch available already. :-)
