MVI files as e-mail attachements

Trying to send e-mail with mvi file attachment from Outlook but it will not
leave the Outbox. Not generating any error messages. Just stays as incomplete
task. Why?
 
Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus

How big is the e-mail sitting in the Outbox? No, not how large was the .mvi
file that you attached but the actual size of the *e-mail* that you are
trying to send?
