muting part of a clip

To mute part of a clip you would
have to split it. Then right click the
portion you want to mute on the
Audio track and from the menu...
choose Mute.

To split...drag the dividing line to
the position you wish and click the
"Split" button (just below the view
screen)...or...type...Ctrl+L.
