The Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon in the tray mysteriously
turns blue sometimes from its normal orange...what does
that mean?

Thanks

yes, I have been wondering too.............

BTW what news reader are you using?

He's using Microsoft's Web interface, not an NNTP reader.

The turning blue is a known bug.

This happens when a user RDP's into another machine running MWAS. I think it
can also happen during some fast user switching as well. The icon turning
blue means nothing.

Yes, the blue icon relates to Remote Desktop, Terminal Services, Remote
Assistance or Fast User Switching.

It means that you have used either Fast User Switching, Remote Assistance,
or Remote Desktop. The change is not intentional--it's a bug.

my respond to the original poster was indirectly asking him to read more instead
of writing :-)

I am learnt to lurk for 3 days before posting in a new newsgroup unless I need
help urgently
