For some reason, after two weeks of my new laptop working
perfectly (sic) on my four computer network, it now
requires reinstalling the network as a new connection each
time I log on. I don't recall changing anything. Any
suggestions?

Please reply to this message in the news group (not by E-mail) with
more information to help other people understand the problem:

Why do you have to reinstall the network? What happens if you don't
reinstall the network?

What exactly do you do to reinstall it? If you run the Network Setup
Wizard, what answers do you give to its prompts?

How is your network set up? Do you have a broadband Internet
connection? A hub, switch, or router? How is everything connected?

How does your laptop get its TCP/IP configuration? Is it static? Is
it assigned by a DHCP server?

The next time the problem occurs, don't reinstall anything. Open a
command prompt window and enter this command to write the TCP/IP
configuration to a file:

ipconfig /all >ipconfig.txt

Copy and paste the contents of the ipconfig.txt file into your reply.
