"Must load Microsoft Bus First" (Realtek '97 Audio)

Everything but my audio device is working fine. Tried to install th latest
Realtek driver for vista but I keep recieving a message "Must first load
Microsoft Bus Driver". In my device manager everything is great and up to
date. Does anyone have an answer to this mess? Please!!!

But, I found a more recent driver for Vista directly from the manufacturer
here:

I installed it and it works just fine for me.

Seems different people are having different results. I cannot use the
official driver (from manufacturer or ms updates) because it gives me an
error when I open programs. It says its not a compatible driver.
Have managed to get around it by using the XP driver.
