Can anyone tell me how to just get rid of musicmatch? I
want it off the hard drive completely, but the Add/Remove
doesn't do the trick in XP Home. Trying to delete the
files gives one of those cryptic warnings that other
programs may not work if musicmatch is deleted. Any help
is appreciated.

.

You must first disable it in StartUp to be able to
uninstall it in Control Panel.
Start/Run/type MSCONFIG and press Enter. Click the
StartUp tab and uncheck/disable mm_tray click Apply and
OK. Now reboot PC and go to ControlPanel/Add or Remove
Programs and it should uninstall. After that there will
still be remnants on your harddrive (as usual). You can
click on Search and type Musicmatch or Jukebox and it
will find some that you can delete but be careful, some
are shared files with WMP (Windows Media Player) such as
Codecs and plug-ins.
