This software came preloaded on my machine. After
attempting to upgrade (for $20.00) the whole application
won't load up. Messages stating :" the ini file was not
found. and the skins directory/file is not specified in
registry.please install software."
This software was preloaded I can't reinstall any thing.
what do you advise?

Therer should be either a back up CD that came with your PC in which case
MMJB will be on there. If not, then the files will be on a back-up partition
on your HD. You need to follow the instructions in your PC manual from
whatever company you bought it from.

Failing all that do a system restore and roll back to a date before you did
the up-grade.

Cheers,
Jerry

If you paid for the upgrade you just paid for a CD Key. All you have to do
is download and reinstall the application from MusicMatch.

I agree with Chris, except that sometimes you have to un-
install MusicMatch.
First go to Add/Remove programs, and remove Music Match,
and all assocciated with it.
Next:
Right Click "My Computer", click Explore, then Drive(C:),
go to Program Files, click on MusicMatch, open the
MusicMatch Jukebox folder, click on Edit, select all,
Click on File, and Delete.(DO NOT DELETE the Music Match
folder)in Program Files!! Just delete the files in Music
Match Jukebox.
Next: Go into Program Files/ and to Common files/ click
on Installshield, and hit the delete button.( Don't
worry...It will re-install itself when you re-download
Music Match)
Then go the Music Match website, and re-download the
software, look on the page where it asks if you allready
purchased Music Match Jukebox plus, click on it, (and
it'll start downloading). After it is all loaded, Open up
Music Match go to Help, next, click on Registration and
enter your Key

If problems still occur, I can e-mail you some
instructions from Music Match that I recieved from
Technical Support when I had a similiar problem.

I have 8.0, and I love it
